Free-Standing Units
Free-standing units consist of a base unit section and a wall unit.
These units can be made in various styles to match certain designs of covers and they are as follows:
- The Maureen design.
- The Estelle design.
- The Empire design.
- The Katherine design.
- The Contemporary design.
- The Josephine design.
- The Sade design
All of these units are manufactured to a height of 2100mm and will come in two standard widths.
900mm wide & 1200mm wide.
Other variations are available upon request.
The base unit consists of a single carcass that will be fitted with a fully adjustable internal shelf.
The shelf to the base unit will be slightly shallower than the depth of the carcass and will be adjustable via Chrome shelf studs.
The internal shelf to the base unit will be adjustable by 50mm up & down of the centre point.
The base unit will be a total depth of 500mm and will be a total height of 800mm.
The base unit will be fitted with a fixed, molded skirting / plinth that will be manufactured to a height of 150mm.
The top to the base unit will be manufactured from 25mm thick MDF and will be machine molded on all visible edges.
The main carcass will be manufactured from 18mm MDF and will be fitted with a 6mm MDF back for strength.
The wall unit will be manufactured to a total height of 2100mm, this will include the base unit and cornice.
The wall unit section will be a total depth of 280mm.
The wall unit will be fitted with a series of 5 fully adjustable shelves, each of which will be manufactured from 18mm MDF.
The shelves to the wall unit will be slightly shallower than the depth of the carcass and will be adjustable via Chrome shelf studs.
The main carcass will be manufactured from 18mm MDF and will be fitted with a 6mm MDF back for strength.
The cornice to the unit will be manufactured to our standard pattern and will be a total height of 54mm.
The doors to the base unit will be manufactured in two styles for now.
The first style will be with a raised panel door.
The second style will be with a flat panel door.
The doors will be manufactured from 18mm MDF and in the case of the flat panel door; this will be manufactured from 18mm MDF for the doorframe with a 6mm panel.
All of the doors will be hung using quick release concealed hinges, these hinges are zinc plated.
