· The Emma cover Columns have been designed with a radius curve that creates rounded corners to each cover.
· The tops to the covers are manufactured with a larger replicated curve that follows the shape of the corner columns.
· The grills to each cover are fitted within a rebate, for this we use our own unique fixing system; the grills are not glued or pinned into place, which would cause rigidity. Our fixing system allows the grills to be permanently flexible; this ensures that the probability of injury from the grill would be an absolute minimum risk.
· Every single exposed edge of each cover is machined with a pencil round mold to remove every square edge; this reduces injury risk from sharp corners and edges to zero.
· The design of each and every cover we produce is specific to guidelines provided to us from an engineers report that we have endorsed; these guidelines ensure that the cover does not restrict the heat output of the radiator, but instead increase the airflow of heated air through the cover, creating a far more efficient circulation of hot air within the room by approximately 15%. This actually saves on energy costs, as the fuel consumption is less.
· We avoid the use of metal type grill within our covers, as there is a chance that this grill could in some circumstances reach temperatures above 43 degrees, as metal is conductive to heat.
· We have designed a simple but extremely effective bracket system for our covers; this system is permanently strong once fitted and will prevent the cover from moving, even under extreme duress. The bracket system also allows each cover to be removed for maintenance purposes in under a minute; it also makes it impossible for the cover to be fitted back in any position other than that it was first fitted.
· Along with the Emma cover we have also designed and produced a matching box cover specifically for covering exposed heating pipes that are not concealed by the radiator cover; these box covers are manufactured in two types; one will fit pipes that run horizontally, parallel to skirting boards and the other is for pipes that run vertically from the floor to the ceiling.
· Our covers are manufactured in such a way, that in the unlikely event that the cover is damaged, the damaged part/s can be replaced at a minimal cost. We also archive all our manufactured cover dimensions for a period of 5 years for reference, just for this specific reason. This would allow us to replace the damaged section speedily, without having to visit the property and identify the part/s.
· Hospitals, Care homes, Social services premises, Special Schools and Residential Care Homes are all eligible to discounts that can amount to as much as 30%, depending on the quantity ordered.
· All of the covers that are produced for Hospitals, Care homes, Social services premises, Special Schools and Residential Care Homes can be pre-finished in White for cleanliness; this prevents the need for paint finishing of the covers to be undertaken within the premises after fitting; thus meaning that the only disruption and upheaval to the sometimes delicate atmosphere of the home will be minimal to just the fitting of the covers.
· All in all, we think that we have considered and understood the circumstances of the environments in which these covers have been specifically designed for, along with understanding the Health & Safety Executive requirements for this simple but much needed enforcement for protecting the needy.
